MoJ Leads with a call to be United For A Drug Free Fiji

SUVA, FIJI – The Ministry of Justice today officially welcomed Hon. Ratu Josaia Niudamu as the new Assistant Minister for Justice. A traditional Fijian ceremony was held at the Ministry’s headquarters, with Minister for Justice Hon. Siromi Turaga, Permanent Secretary Ms. Selina Kuruleca, Solicitor General Mr. Ropate Green Lomavatu, and staff from the Ministry and the Office of the Attorney General in attendance.
Hon. Niudamu was among the Ministers and Assistant Ministers sworn in earlier today at the State House. His appointment is expected to enhance the Ministry’s efforts in legal reform, access to justice, and community engagement.
Minister Turaga emphasized the importance of collaborative leadership, noting that Hon. Niudamu’s experience will help drive justice initiatives that blend traditional values with modern legal practices.
The Ministry of Justice looks forward to his valuable contributions as it works to strengthen the rule of law for all Fijians.
