MINISTER MEETS WITH ACTING COMMISSIONER OF POLICE REGARDING FIJIANS ON THE POLICE BLACKLIST

On Friday 21 June 2024, The Minister for Justice, Honourable Siromi Dokonivalu Turaga, attended the Lomaiviti Provincial Council Meeting, where discussions cantered around improving services related to registration of companies, registration of births and deaths records, and the work of the Official Receiver.
During the meeting, the Minister assured the Lomaiviti Provincial Council that he is committed to elevating these services to higher expectations. He emphasized his intention to focus on enhancing services in rural and maritime areas, ensuring that all Fijians have equal access to these essential services.
The Minister’s visit was a significant milestone in his efforts to improve the delivery of justice and administration of law in Fiji. His commitment to uplift services in the province is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of the people of Fiji.
