REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION OF RELIGIOUS BODIES

ENGAGE A SOLICITOR/COMMISSIONER OF OATH

Trustees Document -2 sets. Should include
-Name of Organization
-Location/Address (both physical & postal)
-3-5 Trustees, names, addresses, designations, contacts (Description-President, Secretary, and Treasurer).Overseas trustees-require a permit/letter of current status in Fiji from immigration/investment Fiji &police clearance from home land)
-Date of Appointment of trustees
-Objectives of the organization
-Signatures of all trustees in the presence of a solicitor or Commissioner of Oaths
-Witnessed by Solicitor or Commissioner of Oaths
Police Clearance of all trustees .To be sent to Registrar of Titles,P.O Box 2226,Government Buildings, Suva.(Attach receipt when lodging the document)
Constitution of the organization duly signed by trustees and endorsed by Solicitor /Commissioner of Oath
Title Copy of the land used by the organization or a consent letter and title from the landowner.
Certified copy of ID’s for all trustees (passport, driver’s license, FNPF etc.)(Ensure trustees full names are the same with ID)
Minutes of the meeting-at least 2 especially when trustees were appointed and confirmation of the need for registration.
Registration Fees-$2.30& Processing timeframe-2 months
